A Bird in the Hand

When Orko breaks an ancient stone statue while trying to help Stanlan dust the antiquities, an ancient map is found inside. They take it to the Sorceress who tells them that the map tells the way to another statue that contains the Ancients' book of spells and that it must be brought to Castle Grayskull for safekeeping. Beast Man overhears and tells Skeletor, and together with Trap Jaw they set out to reach the book of spells before the heroes do. Teela tells viewers to not jump to conclusions; a somewhat bird like creature lands on her shoulder and repeats this twice.

**Teela:** "In today's adventure we saw what happens when we make up our minds about something before we have the facts. It's called 'jumping to conclusions' and anyone who does that will usually find that the conclusion is wrong. That's what happened to Melaktha. If he had only... well, hello Holly. Is there something you want to say? **Holly:** "Yup! Don't jump to conclusions! Don't jump to conclusions!" **Teela:** "That's good advice. And if anyone asks, just say a little bird told you. See you all soon."

1. Continuity: The close-up of He-Man lifting and throwing is re-purposed animation from Dree Elle's Return and it is seen again in The Bitter Rose and The Gambler. The animated sequence of Cringer being scared with a visible shiver running up his spine will be seen again in Game Plan. The animated sequence of He-Man beginning to spin is used again in The Magic Falls.

Stratos rescues an injured bird and finds it is more than ordinary. The bird leads him to a hidden Avion treasure.
