Trap Jaw is a cybernetic warrior whose right arm has been replaced with a socket that accepts a rotating set of weapon attachments: a pincer claw, a grappling hook, and a high-power energy blaster. The original 1983 Mattel figure featured the same swappable-attachment design as a physical play feature.
His personal name Kronis is established by the 2002 MYP series, which gave him a backstory as a former Eternian elite warrior who attempted to overthrow Skeletor and was punished by being rebuilt into his current form as a fully obedient weapon. The Revelation continuation, with Justin Long voicing the role, expanded the character’s interior life and political ambitions.
