Cringer is Prince Adam’s pet tiger, the timid civilian counterpart to the fearless Battle Cat. The two share a single physical form that toggles between identities when Adam invokes the He-Man transformation. The Cringer / Battle Cat duality was a Filmation cartoon addition to a character who was originally just an action-figure mount in the 1982 Mattel toy line.
