Panthor is Skeletor’s massive purple panther mount, the dark mirror to He-Man’s Battle Cat. Unlike Cringer / Battle Cat, Panthor has no second civilian identity — he is always the war-cat. The 1983 Mattel figure was a fully flocked sculpt molded as a purple companion piece to the Battle Cat figure. Panthor appears in nearly every continuity as Skeletor’s preferred mount and a recurring threat to the Heroic Warriors.
