Kando is among the more authoritative Widgets, direct to the point of bluntness and impatient with hesitation. He expects diligence and clear thinking from those around him, though the series is quietly honest about the fact that he does not always hold himself to the same standard.
He is hardest on Squinch, whose naivety and poor decisions he calls out repeatedly. That dynamic gives the Widget episodes a bit of internal friction rather than treating the species as a single undifferentiated comic unit.
He first appears in Evil-Lyn’s Plot in the first season and recurs through the Widget-centred stories.
