Queen Angella rules Bright Moon and is Glimmer’s mother. In the Filmation continuity she spends most of the run as a Horde captive, with Glimmer ruling in her absence. The 2018 Netflix reboot recast her as an active leader of the Rebellion, with her arc concluding in a high-stakes sacrifice midway through that show’s run.
