About This Release
Dream Date Skeletor is the Chronicles figure of Skeletor in a purple suit. It comes from the dream sequence in the 2026 Masters of the Universe film, the one where he turns up looking less like a warlord and more like a man who has read a book about closing. The suit is real fabric over the standard Chronicles body, the Havoc Staff has been swapped for a slim cane with a ram skull on the handle, and Panthor is along for the ride shrunk down to house cat size.
For long-memory fans the look is a nod to “Aaron Dark,” the corporate alias Skeletor was written to wear in the unproduced 1980s sequel Masters of the Universe 2: The Cosmic Caper, the project that got stripped for parts to make Cyborg. Mattel has never said the two are connected. Anyone who has read the Cosmic Caper script will connect them anyway.
Specs and What Is in the Box
A 6.5-inch scale Chronicles release in plastic and fabric, with the multi-point articulation the line is built around. In the box: the figure, the cane, Panthor and an alternate pair of hands. That is a short accessory list next to Gym Bro Skeletor, and the fabric suit is doing most of the work here.
