Fisher-Price has put He-Man on Battle Cat in Little People form, and the set went up for preorder today. The Masters of the Universe: He-Man & Battle Cat Little People Collector Set is item FPJKR70, priced at $26.99, with an estimated arrival of September 2026. The preorder control is live now rather than an email alert.
Three pieces come in the box, which is one more than the name suggests: the He-Man figure, Battle Cat, and a separate orange rock base the pair stands on. Fisher-Price’s own scale art puts the assembled piece at 6 inches, or 15 cm, which is a useful number because the listing copy never gives one and Little People Collector sets vary a lot in size.

What the sculpt actually gets right
The tell on this one is Battle Cat’s helm. The red mask has the correct forward-swept jaw plates and the single crest horn, and it sits over a green head with the mouth open and the teeth showing, rather than being simplified into a smooth shell the way licensed Little People animals often are. The body carries the yellow tiger striping across both flanks, and the red saddle is a separate molded piece with the rounded studs along its edge.
He-Man is the more compromised of the two, which is what the format demands: the Little People body is a single rounded form, so the harness is printed and molded as one silver chest piece with the orange cross on it rather than being a separate strap. He holds an axe in one hand and a round shield in the other, both in silver. Fisher-Price says Battle Cat is posable and wearing “his signature red armor”. The photography does not show the articulation, so take the posable claim as the manufacturer’s rather than something confirmed here.

The packaging is the other deliberate choice. It is a window box with painted rocky Eternia art wrapping the sides, a gold “Little People Collector” spine, and the classic Masters of the Universe logo across the front. Fisher-Price calls it “reminiscent of toy packaging from the 1980s”, and unusually for that kind of claim it holds up: this is a shelf box meant to be displayed sealed, not a blister meant to be torn open.
Where it sits in the line
This is the third Masters of the Universe entry in the Little People Collector range that we carry. The Little People Collector shelf already holds the Evil Warriors Special Edition Set, which is still available at around $27, and the earlier Skeletor’s Stronghold figurine set, which is sold out. A He-Man and Battle Cat pairing is the obvious gap in that group and it took two sets to get here.
One caution on availability. Entertainment Earth has the listing live and taking preorders, and Toy News International flagged the drop this morning. We were not able to reach Big Bad Toy Store this afternoon to check whether it has the set too, so treat Entertainment Earth as one confirmed retailer rather than the only one. If you want it, the September window is close enough that the preorder is worth placing rather than waiting for a wider listing.
