Mekaneck is the Heroic Warriors’ scout and reconnaissance specialist. The defining gimmick (and toy feature) is his cybernetically modified extending neck, which can rise above walls and obstacles for observation. The 1984 Mattel figure used a button mechanism on the figure’s back to physically push the neck up. The character has been retained across every major continuity in some form.
