Masters of The Universe Mattel Archives Man-At-Arms EARLY RELEASE G-0 CARD CAS 75+ (Mattel, 1982). Man-At-Arms was released by Mattel in 1982 as part of the first wave of figures from Masters of The Universe. This is the early "G-0" release with no warranty or G-code printed on the back. Instead, inside the bubble is a separate warranty card and no comic is present. This indicates that it is part of the very first run of Masters of the Universe figures released.
Measuring 7.5 inches by 12.5 inches by 2.5 inches, the piece is sealed and graded 75+ by CAS with sub grades C75 B85 F90 (Real Grade Y 78.7). The grading sticker also designates that this is from "Mattel Archives / Employee Promo". A separate Statement of Archival document from CAS is included.
This piece was purchased from Mattel by a former employee when they liquidated their archives. The blue sticker on front has a price and is marked "Archives". An additional sticker on the front of the box reads: "For Mattel Employees Only. Not For Resale. Historic Archives product. May not be suitable for child play."
