He-Man, 8-Back with Warranty - AFA 60

Masters of the Universe He-Man (Mattel, 1982), the Series 1 figure on an eight-back backing card, graded AFA 60 EX under certification number 10699787 with sub-grades of card 60, blister 85 and figure 85. This is the warranty variant, an early-production 8-back carrying the Mattel warranty text, and the AFA label records it as such. The eight-back card, named for the eight figures pictured on the reverse, is the earliest packaging in the line and the one collectors chase; surviving sealed examples are almost always held back by card wear, which is exactly the pattern here, with a strong 85 blister and 85 figure sitting behind a 60 card.
