About this release
Thunder Punch He-Man is the 1985 variant with a cap-firing punch mechanism. Loaded paper caps in his back trigger a loud thunderclap and a forward-arm punch motion when the front button is pressed. Came with the line-standard sword plus an exclusive shield with a recessed cap-storage well.
Released by Mattel in 1985 as part of the original Masters of the Universe vintage line (Series 4). Five-and-a-half-inch sculpt, five-point articulation, rubber-banded torso, line-standard action feature. Out of production since the line ended in 1988; live secondary-market pricing via the eBay link above.
