About this release
Saurod was a reptilian mercenary in the service of Skeletor. He was one of several Evil Warriors created for the 1987 film Masters of the Universe. To promote the movie, Mattel produced an action figure of Saurod in the Masters of the Universe toy line. The toy had a sparking feature that allowed Saurod to fire “lasers” from his mouth, although this ability was not featured in the film.
Released by Mattel in 1986 as part of the original Masters of the Universe vintage line (Series 5). Five-and-a-half-inch sculpt, five-point articulation, rubber-banded torso, line-standard action feature. Out of production since the line ended in 1988; live secondary-market pricing via the eBay link above.
