About this release
Scratchin’ Sound Catra is the 1986 variant of Catra with a friction-action gimmick: drag her clawed right hand across a rough surface (especially the matching scratch panel in her packaging) and a built-in sound mechanism emits a tearing-claw rasp. A pet panther sometimes shipped alongside her.
Released by Mattel in 1986 as part of the Princess of Power line, the She-Ra-led sister line to Masters of the Universe. Five-and-a-half-inch sculpt, rooted brushable hair, snap-on cape and accessories, crystal-bead packaging.
