Alliance Entertainment, in association with Amazon MGM Studios, has set October 20, 2026 as the street date for the physical release of the 2026 Masters of the Universe film. When pre-orders first went up the listing details were thin. They are not thin any more: all three editions now carry a price, a disc count and a full technical specification.
The three editions
The SteelBook remains the premium collector edition of the three, and the standard 4K keepcase is the cheapest way onto the format.

What is on the disc
The 4K presentation is a native 4K (2160p) HEVC encode with Dolby Vision and HDR10, presented in the film’s 2.39:1 theatrical aspect ratio, running 140 minutes. The 4K disc is listed as region free. Audio track details are still to be announced, but optional English and Spanish subtitles for the main feature are confirmed.
Bonus material is short rather than exhaustive. Collectors hoping for a commentary track or a making-of documentary will not find one on this listing, though the fact that the release carries any extras at all is worth noting given how thin recent Amazon MGM disc releases have been. Where this sits
The disc release closes out a compressed home-media window. Travis Knight’s film opened theatrically on June 5, 2026, arrived on Prime Video in July and went to number one globally on the service shortly after.
