Wave 6 of the Masters of the Universe Origins 200x Cartoon Collection has moved into preorder, with UK retailer The Whole Shebang first out of the gate. The wave carries Sy-Klone, Trap Jaw, and Sorceress at 23.99 GBP each, plus a Deluxe Man-E-Faces at 26.99 GBP, with shipments expected around September. Toy Habits reports that US preorders are expected to surface at domestic online retailers soon.
The Cartoon Collection sub-line translates character designs from the 2002 Mike Young Productions animated series into the modern Origins format with cartoon-style deco. Wave 6 leans into some of that show’s most distinctive redesigns: Trap Jaw’s heavily mechanized 200x look, Sorceress with fully sculpted layered wings and a falcon staff, and Sy-Klone with his signature back-mounted radar dish.
The Deluxe Man-E-Faces is the standout of the wave for many collectors, since the 200x redesign of that character embraced the sci-fi horror aesthetic that defined the MYP era, and this is its first translation into the Origins line.
For UK collectors the listings are live now; North American collectors should watch the usual retailers, with BBTS and Entertainment Earth typically following within days once a wave hits the preorder cycle.
