The fourth wave of Mattel’s MOTU Core line, the 5.5-inch series tied to the 2026 movie, is starting to show up in final packaging. Toy Habits published in-package photos of the wave’s Translucent Skeletor v2, first shared by collector account @toyhuntersholler, followed by a first look at Teela v2 sealed on card.
The Translucent Skeletor casts the classic Skeletor design in see-through plastic, a nod to the color-variant tradition of the vintage line. The card art uses a split composition with He-Man on the left, and the figure reads as a ghostly variant rather than a straight repaint.
Teela v2 comes packed with her hair sculpted up, a rifle laid across the blister and a sword tucked alongside, while the card art at the bottom of the packaging shows the character with her hair down. Per Toy Habits, the v2 designation reflects the iterative sculpt and deco updates Mattel has been making across the Core line. Wave 4 also includes Ram Man and Tri-Klops based on earlier official images.
On timing, BigBadToyStore currently lists a September 2026 release and Entertainment Earth shows October 2026, though packaged samples in the wild often mean product lands earlier than listed.
