Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Original Series on Blu-ray on August 25, 2026. The 13-disc, Region A set collects all 130 episodes of the 1983 Filmation series in HD, with a listed running time of 2,805 minutes.
Disc 13 carries the extras: the feature-length He-Man and She-Ra movie The Secret of the Sword, the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special, the documentary Power of Grayskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, plus featurettes Saturday Morning Legacy of Filmation and Hope, Honor, Heart: The Origins of She-Ra, and a gallery of early concepts and illustrations.
The timing puts the classic series box set between the 2026 movie’s July 21 digital release and its September 15 4K disc date, giving the franchise a steady home-media cadence through the summer. Pre-orders are already live at major retailers.
For collectors, this is the first complete-series release of the Filmation show on Blu-ray from Universal, following years of DVD-only availability. The set is rated NR and carries catalog number 1000863462.
