The face behind the film’s most talked-about cameo has a name. Lauren Saliu played She-Ra in the post-credits scene of Masters of the Universe, the actress confirmed in an Instagram post that was later deleted. ScreenRant reported the reveal on June 6, citing the actress’s original post as carried by ComicBook.
In the now-removed post, Saliu wrote that she was “excited to finally share that I appear as She-Ra in the post-credit scene in Masters of the Universe,” and described the build of the costume in detail: “It was back and forth fittings and 3D scans getting the outfit made to my exact measurements. The craftsmanship and detail is incredible.” She is a relative newcomer, with prior credits limited to the short films The Choice, The Last Straw, and Joggers. Per ScreenRant, she deleted the post after backlash over spoiling the ending and said she would repost the following week.
Director Travis Knight has stayed coy about the casting in his own interviews. Asked by ScreenRant to name the actress, he declined, saying only that “Adam’s sister has always been a huge part of the franchise” and that if a sequel happens “she would play a very, very big role in another movie.” She-Ra, introduced in 1984 as He-Man’s long-lost twin sister, makes her live-action debut in the scene.
Whether that sequel arrives is an open question. The reveal lands the same week the film posted a soft opening, with trade estimates putting the domestic debut at 29.3 million dollars against a budget reported near 200 million. For now, the post-credits tag stands as the clearest signal of where the filmmakers hoped to take the story next.
