The Masters of the Universe UK premiere is two days away. The event is confirmed for Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Cineworld Leicester Square (5-6 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7NA), with talent and filmmakers from the film expected on the red carpet.
The premiere red carpet begins at 5:30 PM local time and is scheduled to wrap around 7:20 PM. Fans who want a spot in the general crowd pen can collect a wristband from the Gardens in Leicester Square on Tuesday, May 26 from 8:00 AM on a first-come, first-served basis.
Amazon MGM Studios is bringing the film to UK cinemas on June 5, the same date as the US theatrical release. The premiere marks the film’s first major red carpet appearance outside North America since the Hollywood premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on May 18.
The world premiere on May 18 drew a strong set of early critical reactions. Critics and journalists described the Travis Knight-directed film as “gloriously campy, wildly entertaining, and nonstop fun from beginning to end” and “one of the biggest surprises of 2026.” The official review embargo lifts June 2 at 6 AM PT, one week before opening day.
