Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes hit the red carpet at the Brazilian premiere of Masters of the Universe at Cine Marquise in Sao Paulo on Sunday, May 24, joined by director Travis Knight. The Brazil stop is part of the worldwide press tour Amazon MGM is running in the two weeks before the June 5 theatrical opening.
Earlier in the day the cast met fans in Sao Paulo, with Galitzine wearing a Brazilian Football Confederation jersey with his surname printed on the back. Mendes, who plays Teela in the film, wore a silk top-and-skirt combination on the carpet itself.
Mendes has been visible in Brazil before. She attended CCXP Brazil in December 2025 alongside the reveal of official Masters of the Universe movie statues, so the Sao Paulo stop closes a loop that began six months before release.
The international press tour follows the May 18 world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and the UK premiere scheduled for May 27 at Cineworld Leicester Square in London. Distribution is handled by Amazon MGM Studios in the United States and Sony Pictures Releasing International overseas, with the global opening date of June 5.
