Collectors photographing their MOTU figures for sale, display, or archive face a specific set of challenges. The 7-inch articulated-figure scale (Super7 Ultimates, Mondo 1/12, Origins) doesn’t require macro hardware but does benefit from controlled diffuse lighting. The flocked surface treatments (Moss Man, Stinkor, Panthor, Grizzlor) photograph differently from the standard hard-plastic figures. Mint-on-card display photography is its own discipline. This is a practitioner’s guide drawn from collector community discussion.
