The Wind Raider is a small one- or two-person flying vehicle used by the Heroic Warriors. The original 1983 Mattel toy featured forward-mounted laser cannons and a grappling hook on a string. The figure rides standing in an open cockpit at the rear of the chassis.
In the Filmation cartoon the Wind Raider is He-Man’s preferred mode of transport for situations that require speed over firepower. The vehicle appears across virtually every continuity, including the 200x MYP redesign, the Classics and Origins toy lines, and the Revelation animation.
