"The Dragon Invasion" - Six-Character Cel, Group of 3

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe "The Dragon Invasion" Six-Character Production Cel and Animation drawing Group of 3 (Filmation, 1983). From "The Dragon Invasion," the ninth episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, we have in this lot a hand-painted production cel featuring Teela, Queen Marlena, King Randor, Orko, Prince Adam, and Cringer. As part of his new plan to attack Grayskull, Skeletor and Beast Man get their hands on dragon eggs and use a growth serum to have them grow and aid them. This 12-field production cel, numbered A1 in the bottom right corner, has the scared characters with an overall image size of 11" x 4.75" as they appear at about the 5:15 mark of the episode. The cel bears a He-Man stamp on the top right corner and is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Also included are the matching animation drawing, a rough animation drawing, and a drawing for the flames, done in graphite and color pencils on 12-field animation sheets. The drawing of the flames has pinholes on the right edge, and the rough animation drawing shows staple holes in the top-right corner. A production folder accompanies the lot. With overall minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.
