He-Man Production Cel #2

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe He-Man Production Cel (Filmation, c. 1983-85). The heroic He-Man prepares to attack his next foe in this lot with an amazing stock 12 field 3-peghole production cel from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe! The hand-painted 12 field 3-peghole cel was used near the beginning of He-Man's memorable punching animation when he sends his fist directly at the screen. It does not appear in the punch animation in the opening, but was reused in various episodes of the series. This helped the artists to save time and keep the budget of the show more manageable. One instance you can find it is at about 10:08 in the episode "The Search", flipped on screen. The cel is marked MU STK 6A and numbered 30 in the lower right corner. He-Man himself measures about 10.5'' x 7.5'' and is attached to a print background for presentation purposes. The cel has been taped at the left and right edge to the page. The lot is accompanied by a Filmation COA and is in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and faint paint wear.
