There are two fantastic 12 field production cels of He-Man and his beloved animal friend Battle Cat in this lot! The cel of Battle Cat was created for episode 51 of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode "City Beneath the Sea", airing on 10/24/1983. It appears at roughly 10:37 while our heroes are held captive in Aquatica and talk to Mer-Man, the villain who has been sinking ships nearby. He-Man was made for episode 3 of She-Ra: Princess of Power "The Sword of She-Ra Part 3: She-Ra Unchained, premiering on 9/11/1985. You can find him by pausing at about 18:27 as he prepares to charge at Hordak and She-Ra's other enemies. The hand-painted characters measure approximately 11.75'' x 7.75'' and 5'' x 8.5'' and are marked C-23 and HM36 in the lower right. Both also have the production codes PP-3 and MU 51. The cels are both taped at the bottom edge to the same print background for presentation purposes and the lot is accompanied by a Filmation COA. The lot is in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and faint paint wear.
