"Attack From Below" - He-Man & Skeletor Cel

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe "Attack From Below" He-Man and Skeletor Stock Production Cel (Filmation, 1984/c. 1983-85). Featured in this lot is an incredible, rare 2-layer 12-field production cel of He-Man and Skeletor from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The cel of He-Man was created for about 6:30 in the episode "Attack From Below" as the hero punches a ladder into a nearby cave wall to climb his way to safety. The episode was 82 of the series and aired on 10/15/1984. The stock cel of Skeletor features the villain with both He-Man's Sword of Power and a shield, a hard-to-find occurrence in the animated series. Skeletor only wields the Sword of Power very briefly throughout the 1983-85 series with the two notable instances happening in the episodes "Masks of Power" and "Curse of the Spellstone". Stock cels were usually created for a specific type of motion and reused in different situations, like He-Man's punching, laughing, or running animation. This one appears to have had a more limited use. The characters measure about 8.5'' x 7'' combined, are displayed in a print background for presentation purposes, and are numbered under the mat. The cel includes a Royal Animation Art Inc sticker in the upper right and is in a 17'' x 15'' mat. A He-Man COA is on the reverse of the mat. Very Good condition with only light edge and handling wear.
